This Privacy Policy explains how Saubhagya Path (“we”, “us”), run by Dr. Acharya Dharmendra Shastri, collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use saubhagyapath.com, book a consultation, or buy a product or service from us.
1. Information we collect
- Contact details: your name, phone/WhatsApp number, email address.
- Billing and shipping details: your address, city, state and PIN code (needed for invoices and for shipping gemstones or printed kundli).
- Birth details: name, date, time and place of birth (and, for Kundli Milan, the same details of your partner), and any question you share with us. These are needed to prepare your kundli or give a consultation.
- Booking details: preferred date, time slot and mode (phone/online) of consultation.
- Technical data: basic information your browser sends (such as IP address, device and browser type) and cookies needed for the cart and checkout to work.
Payments: online payments are processed securely by our payment gateway, Razorpay. We do not see or store your card, UPI PIN or net-banking password. Razorpay handles that information under its own privacy policy.
2. How we use your information
- To prepare your kundli, reports and puja, and to conduct your consultation.
- To confirm your booking and contact you by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email about your order.
- To ship products to you and send order updates.
- To keep records required by law (for example, invoices and tax records).
- To answer your questions and improve our services.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
3. Who we share it with
Only when needed to serve you: our payment gateway (Razorpay), courier/shipping partners (your name, phone and address only), our website hosting provider, and government authorities when the law requires it.
4. Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are needed for the cart, checkout and login to work. You can block cookies in your browser, but the shop may not work properly without them.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your order and birth details for as long as needed to provide the service and follow-up guidance, and order/invoice records for as long as Indian tax law requires. You can ask us to delete your birth details at any time.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent, by writing to saubhagyapath@gmail.com or messaging us on WhatsApp. We will respond within a reasonable time, as required by Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
7. Security
Our website uses SSL (https) encryption, and access to your information is limited to those who need it to serve you. No online system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your data.
8. Children
Our services are meant for adults. If you share details of a child (for example, for a child’s kundli), you confirm that you are the parent or guardian.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
